Taylor Swift’s fifth studio album, 1989, is due to be released at the end of October 2014. She made the announcement in late August 2014. The biggest artist at the moment was involved in her tour after the last record, Red, released in 2012. The 1989 is 48 minutes in length and contain Taylor’s most current work in pop music. It contains 13 tracks on standard and 16 tracks on the deluxe. She entered the music industry as a country artist and today she is showing her abilities in other forms of music. Songs in 1989 reveals Taylor’s version of love and complexities of relationships mostly from her failed relationship with One Direction star Harry Styles. The new release will contain her full pop work. Producers of the album are Jack Antonoff, Max Martin, Shellback, Ryan Tedder and Noel Zancanella.
Labelling of the album represent her birth year. She also expressed her appreciation off work from artists at that time including Madonna. As expected, when released, the new album will receive accolades and may even climb to No. 1 in Billboard charts and stay there for a while. It is widely expected to sell well within the week of release.
