Streaming Radio for Good Music

Streaming radio is a one-way audio transmission through a data network; extensively used on the Web to play audio clips and Internet radio. Contrary to the process of sound files that only play after the entire file is downloaded and stored, streaming radio begins playing after only a small amount of data is downloaded. However, when the internet connection is slow, the file buffers so that it creates blips that are annoying to the ears.

Another popular music genre is the jazz music. Early in 20th century, the African music was converged with the European music traditions; thus creating jazz. It is a total mix of cultural music as it integrates American popular music in the 19th century and the Afro-European music in and 20th century. Some of the rhythms of jazz include improvisation, blue notes, swing note, polyrhythm, and syncopation.  In the contemporary time, jazz is mainly danced as swing, rumba and cha cha.

But the unique component of online radio is that it has a genre called talk radio. This is another radio format that talks about or discusses about several topics of different fortes like religion, family, health, sports, showbiz and more. The concept is pretty much the same as a TV talk show. In talk radio, a host will conduct series of interviews and invite listeners to interact with the discussion so that the program is responsive and would create a certain dynamic between the interviewee and the listeners. This format is a good alternative to listening to online music as it is more informative and educational.
